Here is a checklist to help you decide on which area of the EIS you would like to focus
Your SOS Checklist for 159-167 DSW
Download it and complete it before you start. It is specifically built around this EIS
Follow these easy steps:
-
Firstly: Don't try to write a definitive, all encompassing submission.
- Use the checklist to identify 2 areas that most effect your "lived experience."
- Download the Appendix and the EIS Statement and read them through
- Make bulletin points about how the proposal affects you
- Do several versions until you are happy.
Aim to lodge by Sunday 1st February - this gives you 1 last day to contact them if you have a problem.
Making a submission from outside Darley Street West as someone worried about the affect of SSDs in Mona Vale?
Please do - "pay it forward" - your street may be next - support your neighbours now - be heard.
Here is a short list of factors ( expressed at our last meeting) that may be of concern to you and help you write your submission.
-
Congestion within Mona Vale village.
-
The B-line is an "enhanced bus service" not a rapid transit solution with dedicated lanes and 24 hour service.
- Concerns about the load on the Warriewood Treatment plan and the health of our surf and coast.
- No funding for additional infrastructure is promised by State government.
- The potential for rows of 6-8 storey buildings turning the beach into the Gold Coast.
- No community consultation.
