35-39 DSE 1-1

Aim to have your submission lodged by Sunday night. Submissions closed Monday 2nd February.

NOTE: You must have a valid NSW government login to lodge your submission. If you are having trouble using your current login you can create a new one.

Having trouble getting into the State Govt planning portal ? Click in the link below; you can download  any of the documents & drawings without the need to login.

Following our meeting grab your checklist to help you decide on which area of the EIS you would like to focus

Follow these easy steps:

  1. Firstly: Don't try to write a definitive, all encompassing submission.

  2. Use your checklist to identify 2 areas that most effect your "lived experience."
  3. Download the Appendix and the EIS Statement from the portal link above and read them through
  4. Make bulletin points about how the proposal affects you
  5. Do several versions until you are happy.

Aim to lodge by Sunday 2nd August - this gives you one last day to contact them if you have a problem.

Making a submission from outside Darley Street West as someone worried about the affect of SSDs in Mona Vale?

Please do - "pay it forward" - your street may be next - support your neighbours now - be heard.

Here is a short list of just some factors ( expressed at our meeting on Thursday night) that may be of concern to you to help you write your submission.

  1. Congestion within Mona Vale village.

  2. The B-line is an "enhanced bus service" not a rapid transit solution with dedicated lanes and 24 hour service.

  3. Concerns about the load on the Warriewood Treatment plan and the health of our surf and coast.
  4. No funding for additional infrastructure is promised by State government.
  5. The potential for rows of 6-8 storey buildings turning the beach into the Gold Coast.
  6. No community consultation.
  7. No Fire & Rescue ladder in case of fire in the higher levels.
  8. Bush fire evacuation routes
